Clay With Me! Wheel Throwing

Service Description

Bring your child, grandchild, niece/nephew or a family friend (ages 3-15) to do a quick pottery making session on the potter's wheel. You'll pick your 2 favorite pots to be finished by our instructors, glazed with a color of your choice and be ready for pickup 4-6 weeks from the session*. We will call you when they are ready or we can arrange to ship them to you. $60 per additional person. *The class fee covers instruction and professional finishing services (firing and glazing) provided by our studio staff. Please note that pottery is an inherently unpredictable medium, and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or the survival of pieces through the firing and glazing process. Factors such as clay composition, thickness variations, air bubbles, and kiln conditions can affect results. While our experienced staff takes every care in handling your work, some pieces may crack, warp, or break during firing, and glazes may react differently than expected. This uncertainty is part of the authentic pottery experience, and we encourage students to embrace both the successes and learning opportunities that come with working in clay.
